Broadway Suite 166 – Urbana, IL), Illinois author and sustainable food activist Daniel Tucker will present a slide show and discussion of his new book, Farm Together Now: A portrait of people, places and ideas for a new food movement.
Picked by Michael Pollan as his favorite book of 2010, Farm Together Now features conversations with farms across the country that are working in sustainable food production in the US. Throughout 2009 the authors visited twenty farms from coast to coast, talking to farmers about their engagement in sustainable food production, public policy and community organizing efforts.
